WHO IS THERMOMIX® IN AUSTRALIA?
Thermomix in Australia was founded by Grace and Witek Mazur in 2001, and has since become the world’s leading independent Thermomix® distributor.
Grace was first introduced to Thermomix® while visiting a childhood friend during a family holiday in Poland.
She was amazed to see this machine create an entire meal in minutes. As an avid cook, she had to bring one home. After discovering it had never been sold in Australia, Grace soon became the sole Australian distributor from Vorwerk® International, the manufacturer of Thermomix®.
Thermomix® in Australia has expanded around Australia and New Zealand, and around 2,500 independent consultants have helped more than 400,000 customers provide delicious, wholesome food for their families and friends.
From humble beginnings in Grace’s home, Thermomix® in Australia has grown rapidly. Today, with a head office in Perth, there are now offices and service centres in Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland, New Zealand.
Thermomix® in Australia employs around 150 staff to support our customers and consultants, including a Perth-based customer service centre.
How long has Thermomix® been around?
Thermomix® in Australia started in 2001 and expanded to New Zealand in 2009. Vorwerk® International, which manufacturers Thermomix in Europe, was founded in Wuppertal, Germany in 1883. Originally a carpet factory, Vorwerk® has now grown into a highly diversified corporate group that has developed an international reputation for producing technologically advanced, superior quality products.
Despite Vorwerk’s® growth into an internationally recognised corporation, like Thermomix® in Australia, it remains a family enterprise to this day, focused on delivering strong customer service and high-quality products. Thermomix® is made to high-quality specifications in Vorwerk International’s French and German production facilities.
How are ThermomixES® sold and who sells them?
Thermomixes® are sold by our independent Consultants. More than 2,500 consultants in Australia and New Zealand, are also supported by after-sales service teams and our Perth-based customer contact centre.
Consultants hold Cooking Experiences in homes and workplaces to share the lifetime of amazing meals people can create with their Thermomix®.
